My friend is a photographer and has been working out of a funky studio with a great location in downtown Charlottesville. She recently moved a few doors down to a new space which I have not seen yet. She came over to tell me that it is freaking her out a little because it is soooooo big and the ceilings are soooooo high. In fact, she says that there is so much room that I could put an office in there and she wouldn’t even notice me. I am whizzing down there tomorrow to check it out and to see what ideas we can come up with to make it more user friendly. We were talking about how selecting the right lighting is extremely important when you have high ceilings – and especially important when your business is photography. I am preparing for my visit by spending extra time looking at photos of interiors – and I can’t seem to stop.
